In September, JIALING motorcycle models with above 100cc displacement, were awarded as ¡°China Renown Brand product¡± again.

¡°JIALING¡± brand was listed in China¡¯s 500 most valuable brands, which ranked 89th, its brand value increased to RMB59,200,000,000 from RMB33,050,000,000 in 2002.

The turnout and sale of motorcycles, engines and spare parts achieved an historical record, up to 1,220,000 units.






Jialing Motorcycle achieved a sustained growth in production and operation. The turnout and sale of motorcycle broke through 950,000 units, the engines were exported over 270,000 units, valued USD45,000,000.





On September 26, Jialing obtained the first ¡°CCC¡± certificate among the Chinese motorcycle enterprises.





From April 24 to April 26, Jialing Group exclusively entitled and sponsored ¡°Jialing Group Cup National Off-road motorcycle Championship Competition¡± in 2001 and appointed JH125GY off-road motorcycle as the racing vehicle.

In September, JH125 series motorcycles were awarded as ¡°China Renowned Brand products¡±.

In October, the welding Robert production line for frame and other motorcycle parts were completed and put into operation.





In April, China Jialing Technology center was assessed as the state-grade enterprise technology center.






On February 26, Jialing Group obtained the certificate of ISO14001, the Environmental Management System;

On February 28, Jialing Group signed Technology Transfer Contract No. JH9804 to introduce technology of two-stroke scooter TACT50 and water-cooled four-stroke scooter CH125.

In March, Jialing Group established PT.Buana Jialing Sakti Motor Co., Ltd in Indonesia.





On April 9, ¡°JIALING¡± trademark was awarded as ¡°China Famous Trademark¡±, which was the first national famous trademark and was the first national famous trademark in motorcycle industry;

In May, Jialing Group and China Motorcycle Sport Association jointly sponsored the ¡°National Off-road Motorcycle Championship Competition¡± and provided JH125L off-road motorcycle as the racing vehicle;

The turnout and sale of Jialing Group continued to reach 1,000,000 units for three years.





In March, the second engine production line invested by Jialing Group, which cost RMB five hundred million, was completed and was put into operation.

In April, ¡°JIALING¡± brand was awarded as the most valuable Chinese brand in 1995, which was worthy of RMB 2,572,000,000. It was the highest brand value in motorcycle industry;






On February 3, Jialing Group signed Equipments Supply Contract with Honda Co., Ltd Japan to import sixty six units (sets) of essential equipments for motorcycle engine, which valued RMB forty one billion.

On March 22, Jialing Group obtained the honor of ¡°National Excellent Enterprise-Golden Horse Prize¡±

Jialing Group was awarded the title of ¡°King of Chinese Motorcycle¡± by the Technical Advancement Evaluation Center Of National Statistics Bureau;

On September 15, Jialing Group introduced CIS system completely and launched the relevant press conference in Shanghai.

On December 1, Jialing Group established Shanghai Jialing motorcycle Co., Ltd in Shanghai.

The turnout and sale of Jialing Group reached 1,108,500 units and then became the first enterprise, whose turnout and sale broke through one million units in motorcycle industry.





On October 18, the first- stage construction of JIALING-HONDA Engine Co., Ltd completed and was put into operation.

Jialing Group obtained the honor of ¡°National Safe Production Advanced Enterprise¡±; was awarded as ¡°China Famous Brand Enterprise¡± by China Famous Trademark Protection Organization.





On January 1, the joint venture, Sanshui Jialing Motorcycle Co., Ltd, which Jialing participated in, was established in Sanshui city in Guangdong province.

In June, Jialing Group established Jialing Motorcycle American Co., Ltd.

Jialing Motorcycle broken through 500,000 units and reached 590,000 units.





In February, ¡°Hainan Jiatai Motorcycle Co., Ltd¡± was established formally in Hainan province.

In September, Jialing Group organized a team participating in Sanya-Beijing ¡°National women motorcycle rally race¡± and provided all the vehicles for racing with JH70 and JH125.

In November, Jialing Motorcycle was one of the best-sold commodities in China and was awarded Golden Bridge Prize.

On December 5, Jialing signed contract with Honda Co., Ltd. Japan for the Joint Venture, i.e. JIALING-HONDA Engine Co., Ltd





In April, Jialing Group was awarded with the ¡°State-level prize on the enterprise¡¯s technical advancement¡±.

On May 24, Jialing Group signed Technology Transfer Contract with Keihin mechanical institute, Japan on carburetor of motorcycle to introduce carburetor technology and to import equipments.





In December, Jialing promoted to be the National First Grade Enterprise.





In April, Jialing Group¡¯s self-developed JH125 motorcycle passed the national technical identification and entered into mass production.

On October 21, Jialing Group signed Technology Transfer Contract with Honda Japan No. JH8903 to introduce its 125cc off-road motorcycle technology.





On February 21,under the technology cooperation contract with Honda Co., Ltd, Japan, Jialing established the 70~125cc engine production line and was put into operation, the production capability per year is 600,000 units per year.





In December, Jialing Motorcycle CJ50 was awarded the National silver medal, which is the top award in quality in China.





The turnout and sale of Jialing Motorcycle broke through 200,000 units and reached 264,400 units;





On January 1, Jialing Motorcycle CJ50 reached the same quality level of similar Japan Honda motorcycles and adopted ¡°JIALING-HONDA¡± joint trademark;

On September 15, Jialing signed Equipments Supply Contract with Honda Japan on 70-125cc motorcycle engine production lines to import seventy seven units (sets) of essential equipments, which valued three billion yen.;





In April, Jialing established the Motorcycle Inspection Station by importing the equipments of Japan Honda Co., Ltd, which then became the inspection station of Quality Supervision on motorcycle and small type gas engine for Chongqing and Sichuan province;

On October 29, Jialing signed Technology Transfer Contact No. JH8302 with Japan Honda Co., Ltd to introduce into its technology of C70 motorcycle.

The turnout and sale of Jialing Motorcycle reached 100,000 units.





In April, Jialing was appointed as national manufacturer for motorcycles.

Jialing Motorcycle CJ50 participated in the Spring Canton Fair. And then it became the earliest motorcycle in China to enter into the international market.





On December 10, Jialing signed Technology Transfer Contact On JH8101 with Honda Co., Ltd, Japan.

The turnout and sale of Jialing Motorcycles reached 50,000 units, and Jialing became the largest motorcycle enterprise in Chinese motorcycle industry.





Jialing Motorcycle Economic Association was established.





On April 20, Jialing established the motorcycle research institute, which launched its motorcycle R/D formally;

On September 15, Jialing developed the first 50 motorcycles for civil use in China.
